Another review thats long overdue. :)
I was browsing one of my favorite online store, La Petite Confiserie for new arrivals of makeup when I came across her post on Tassi.
You guys are prolly wondring what Tassi is, right?
Here's a short overview of what Tassi does :
Each day, women everywhere face a common problem as they wash their face, care for their skin and apply their makeup — how to keep their hair out of the way. Enter the Tassi.
What’s the Tassi? It’s a patented product that makes it easy for you to keep your hair away from your face. Made of a comfortable stretch terry cloth, the Tassi goes on in three easy steps and gently lifts and holds your hair. Unlike headbands, clips or turbans, the Tassi does not flatten, twist or mess up your “do,” so it’s perfect for protecting second-day blowouts, too. You’ll also love to use your Tassi while you’re washing your face, taking a bath, applying makeup or whenever you want your hair out of the way.
Fun and fashionable, the Tassi is available in 12 colors, including white, soft pink, hot pink, chocolate brown, lavender, powder blue, lime green, tan, tangerine, turquoise, chili pepper red and black.
Founder Shawna Ellsworth created the Tassi based on a hairwrap her Aunt Dot used to make for her three teenage daughters. Shawna began using Aunt Dot’s hairwrap, too, when she washed her face each night. Over the years while raising five children, Shawna refined and developed Aunt Dot’s original concept. Eventually, she obtained a patent and began selling Tassies from her home in Arizona by word of mouth. Women loved them and became raving fans! Now, Shawna is ready to share the Tassi with women everywhere.
I used to have long hair and i mean really long since its waist-length, and I always have a hard time keeping it off my face whenever I have to wash my face, put on face masques and do my makeup, I have all kinds of heabands here and none of them matched how Tassi does its job in keeping hair off my face.
At first I was hesitant in getting one for myself because I was contemplating if its really worth it, at Php 450.00 each, the price is pretty steep for a headband, but I had no luck in finding something like it locally.
All we have in malls here are narrow cloth/elastic headbands that cant really hold the hair that well especially for those who have long and thick locks like mine.
Getting my own Tassi isnt planned, I was just expecting my CARGO SuedeBlush Haul to arrive in the mail and after opening my package, I was so happy to see that theres Tassi included in my stash! I think its because Im a frequent customer of Karen (La Petite Confiserie's owner). She was nice enough to give me one in Polka Pink. It was the design and color I was eyeing before. Im one happy girl! :)
So now you're prolly asking if its worth purchasing? I would say yes, especially if you have long hair or if you hate having headband marks on your hair.
Its easy to use than those velcro patches that became a fad that claims to hold even the teeniest sprouting hairs that you have. Tassi is one product that holds everything in place.
Tassi is available in 15 fab colors/designs by the way, 12 of those are solid colors plus three patterned ones. :)
Im getting two more, Zebra and Robin Egg Blue. :)

Live, Love and Stay Fab! :)
